The Nitecore i2 fast battery charger has two charging slots for simultaneously charging two separate batteries, regardless of their size, voltage, capacity, and chemical composition. The integrated LED display of the Nitecore i2 fast battery charger allows monitoring of the charging process. Therefore, the Nitecore i2 fast battery charger is the optimal choice for users.
The Nitecore i2 lion battery charger is rectangular and crafted of high-quality ABS material. The lion battery charger case employs a compact size of 132mm by 70mm by 35mm. Nitecore i2 is available in black with a yellow color option and weighs 126 grams. Moreover, the lion battery charger case features a LED display and two buttons on the front side, two slots for batteries, and a socket for a connection of 12V.
The dual battery charger contains a built-in microprocessor, with which the charger automatically detects the kind of power supply installed. At the end of charging, the dual battery charger will stop supplying current, and the corresponding indicator will blink on display. The Nitecore i2 dual battery charger is able to restore IMR batteries. The maximum current for each slot is 500mA.
To power the charger, a network cable is provided for alternating current with a frequency of 50-60 Hz and a voltage of 220 or 100V. Compared to the old Nitecore i2 model, the cable length was significantly increased: from 0.4m to 1m. A socket also connects a 12V DC source, such as a car cigarette lighter. The device will immediately stop providing voltage if trying to charge a non-rechargeable battery. It will notify of this by flickering four LEDs at once, located above the section with an unsupported battery. The same will happen if the batteries are inserted wrongly, confusing their polarity.
The total charging current of Nitecore i2 is 1000mA. At the user's discretion, it divides into two sections: 500mA for charging two batteries simultaneously or sending all 1000mA into one slot. Thanks to this, it is possible to reduce the waiting for battery charging by two times. Initially, the device will automatically configure an equal distribution of current. To change this parameter, click the button above the section whose current strength needs to be changed. After that, the green LED will blink and indicate that the current setting mode is activated. Then press the C button for several seconds; as a result, the red LED will begin to burn and turn off alternately.
